You and all of our other readers are important to us here at HOPEisSTRENGTH.com, and so is your privacy.  Here is an overview of the kinds of personal information we collect and receive from you when you visit our site.

First of all, we will NEVER sell your personal information to third parties.  For example, when you leave us a comment or ask a question about a post, you will need to input your email address so we can protect the site from automated junk comments.  Rest assured that we never sell your information because we hate spam as much as you do.

Just like most other web sites, we collect data from our log files, including your ISP (internet service provider), IP address, the browser you're using to read the site, when you visited and which pages you read.

We use cookies to save information about your personal preferences when you visit the site.  A good example is comments.  When you first comment, you'll let us know your name and email address as mentioned above.  For future visits, this information will be pre-filled, so you can just go ahead and write a comment without having to fill out the form every time (neat, huh?)

Feel free to disable cookies in your browser settings, or you can also use extra programs to handle this task.  However, this can change how you view the site, and make functions like logging in more difficult.  With the example above of repeat comments, cookies make this faster.  If cookies are disabled, you'll have to input your name and email address every time you want to leave us feedback, so that will take some extra time.
